Shell Rimula R4X CI-4
Shell Rimula R4X CI-4 is a heavy-duty diesel engine oil designed to protect and extend the life of diesel engines under tough operating conditions. It’s formulated with Shell’s Dynamic Protection technology to give enhanced performance in three key areas: protecting against wear, acid corrosion, and deposit buildup (keeping the engine cleaner). It delivers better engine cleanliness, corrosion protection, and wear control compared with basic API CI-4 requirements, making it suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty diesel engines used in trucks, buses, construction, and agricultural equipment. The typical viscosity grade is 15W-40 and it meets API CI-4 and other global specifications for modern diesel engines.
