Shell Gadus S2 Greases
Shell Gadus S2 OGH 0/00 – A specialised open gear and wire‑rope grease designed for very high‑temperature, heavy duty applications (e.g., rotary kiln gears). It uses a clay/inorganic thickener with graphite to provide excellent load carrying, shock resistance, and thermal stability, and is pumpable or sprayable for large industrial gear systems.
Shell Gadus S2 U1000D 2 – A heavy‑duty industrial grease for slow‑speed plain bearings and harsh conditions. It has a clay thickener and very high viscosity oil that gives strong load carrying, good water resistance, and protection up to high temperatures (≈200–250 °C) in tough industrial machines.
Shell Gadus S2 U460L 2 is a heavy‑duty industrial grease with a clay (inorganic) thickener and high‑viscosity base oil, designed for slow‑speed, heavily loaded bearings operating at high temperatures. It stays in place under load and vibration, resists oxidation and evaporation better than many lithium greases, and can be used in tough conditions where standard greases would soften or fail.
